Elementary Food Hygiene Certificates Awarded

Gairloch High School pupils proudly display their Elementary Food Hygiene Certificates. Pupils were presented at Assembly first day back this term along with several staff who also successfully completed the course.

The new Skills for Work Hospitality class have all worked hard to obtain their certificates. This new course, in conjunction with West Highland College, is looking to build on existing partnerships with local employers and training providers. Hospitality is a well-established industry in Wester Ross and this course fills an identified need to meet the needs of industry and will help Gairloch pupils maximise their potential. Teacher in charge, Mr Milner, is delighted with the positive start pupils have made and he is keen to to make sure the pupils learn through practical experience.
